Felted Slippers

This felted slipper pattern is a great introduction to both felting and knitting socks.  Students will learn the basic elements to a traditional top down heel flap sock while knitting a giant sock at a loose gauge which will felted to create a dense wool slipper.

Prerequisite skills: confident with the basics of knitting (knit, purl, decreases) and knitting in the round
Pattern: free Fuzzy Feet

Yarn: 190-380 yards worsted weight 100% wool yarn - no superwash wool
Needles:  US 10.5 double pointed needles and 16" US 10.5 circular needle (optional)

Make-up classes are $10 per session.
