Spectra - short row techniques

Short rows! Knit this eye catching innovative scarf and practice three common short row techniques. Students will learn the wrap and turn (W&T), the Japanese short row, and the German (Yarn Over) short row.

A minimum number of 4 students is required for this class to take place. If fewer than 4 are registered 24 hours prior to the event, your class fee will be fully refunded or applied to another class or private lessons at Livingston Knitter.
Prerequisites: casting on, binding off, knit, purl
Pattern: Spectra by Stephen West - $6 available through Ravelry (purchase prior to first class)
Yarn: 640 - 650 yards -2 different yarns in the same weight (fingering or sport weight)
I suggest one yarn to have long slow color changes to achieve the desired effect of different colored interior wedges showcased in this pattern.

Needles: size US 5 or size to get desired gauge/fabric
Notions: locking stitch markers or safety pins
If you miss a class session and need to reschedule there is a $10 additional fee.
