Basic Socks Class



Learn to knit a classic sock pattern on double pointed needles. These are top down socks with a heel flap, one of the most common basic sock pattern designs. We'll also cover some basic modifications to make sure they fit comfortably.

Knitting 102



You know the most basic skills of knitting, but now what? Students will learn the basic increases and decreases, as well as some common stitch patterns. These skills will help to increase the types of items you can knit.

Striped Wrist Warmers Class


Slouchy wrist warmers are a perfect year round accessory in Montana. Around the campfire in the summer, at sporting events in the fall (these would be great in team colors), by the wood stove in winter, or on cool spring mornings. This is a fun three session class for both beginning knitters and more experienced knitters wanting to learn some new skills. Students will learn techniques in knitting swatches, double pointed needles, knitting with two colors, jogless stripes, and have time to practice in class. There is one size for this pattern sized to fit an average adult.

Cabling Techniques Class

Knit cables are classic and elegant. This timeless scarf pattern is ideal for practicing new cabling techniques. Perhaps best of all, in the end you'll have an attractive and functional new accessory!
This is a great class for both beginning knitters and more experienced knitters looking to learn some new techniques. Students will learn three different cabling techniques, two techniques to join yarn, and have time to practice in a class setting.

Basic Hat Class

This is a great two session class for both beginning knitters and more experienced knitters wanting to learn some new skills. Students will learn techniques in knitting swatches, knitting in the round, knitting on double pointed needles, how to block hats without getting pesky fold lines, and also have time to practice in class. This is also a great class to take if you are planning to take the upcoming Basic Socks Class!

There are two size options for this pattern: average adult and average youth. By the end of the classes you will have a warm wool hat!
