Thrummed mittens are perfect for our Montana Winters! Students will learn knitting thrums on a mitten pattern with two size options.  We will also learn the afterthought thumb and how to knit in the round using the magic loop technique.

Prerequisite skills: confident with the basics of knitting (knit, purl, decreases) and knitting in the round
Pattern: $5.50 Thrummed Fleece-Stuffed Mittens (buy online)

Yarn: 200 yards worsted weight yarn
Needles:  US 6 and US 7 (or size to get gauge)  40”-47” circular needles

Please bring a notebook and something to write with so you can take notes as needed.

Make-up classes are $10 per session.

Pompoms!

Let’s make pompoms! They are great as additions to hats and scarves, garland, tree ornaments, present toppers, and more. Students will learn several ways to make adorable pompoms of varying sizes. Two kids free with paid adult (adult must participate with child, no drop offs please).
